For example fly fishing excursions are held at select Highland lochs and streams by our partner Fishing-Scotland Apart from fishing amid such scenic grandeur there's the immense historic and cultural significance offered by the area. The loch which was the lair of the three witches of "Macbeth" and did exclaim such power of the elements to command 'where shall we meet again, in thunder, lightening or in rain'. Lochan Luna Da-Bhra or Loch Lundavra with it's beautiful wee islands and wild fighting brown trout is hidden in the hills close to our hotel, above Fort William.

All of the fishing locations come close to what is frequently described as instant wilderness, without going on an expedition. Ideal for picnic's, plenty of space, super for kids, a great way to see and appreciate the freedom of the Highlands. Given the proximity of the sea you can also enjoy sea fish fishing.
